In
addition to volunteering, there are also
internship opportunities available at our
home, ranging from 3 to 6 months.
Internships provide an opportunity to spend
an extended amount of time with the children
and staff at our home while serving in many
different capacities, such as tutoring,
counseling, healthcare, maintenance, and
education. Whatever your interests or
abilities may be, we can put them to work.
Interns will be provided with room and board
but must provide for all other expenses.
Applicants must be 21 years of age or have
completed their sophomore year of college.
Interns will be living with the children and
must be willing to eat traditional Peruvian
food and participate in a variety of
activities. Intern positions are limited and
applicants are encouraged to apply well in
advance. Opportunities exist to teach
English and study Spanish while serving as
an intern here at New Hope.
